KUWAIT, Kuwait’s Foreign Minister and State Minister for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Al-Nasser Al-Sabah on Sunday chaired talks with his counterparts from across the wider Arab region, with greater emphasis placed on security cooperation among Arab League member states.

The Kuwait-hosted talks aim to propel pan-Arab cooperation to greater levels, while core matters such as the Palestinian cause will feature heavily on the agenda, in addition to some of the most perennial challenges facing the region, chief among them the COVID-19 pandemic.

More cooperation is needed to keep such challenges at bay, which in turn, would help establish more unity within the Arab region, conferees underlined.
