Kuwait’s Ministry of Health on Sunday said that 26 people were infected with the novel coronavirus in 24 hours, taking the total to 413,008, and that the death toll stood at 2,462 since there were no deaths over the past 24 hours.

As many as 39 recoveries were registered in the same period, raising the total number to 410,277, the Ministry’s spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told KUNA.

The number of patients receiving treatment at ICUs is three, while there are 269 and 12 others at hospitals and the covid-19 wards respectively, he noted.

Medical swabs conducted over the same period reached 20,215 increasing the total tests to 5,062,011 he stated.
