Kuwait lists 50 new COVID-19 cases, 46 recoveries

 

 

Kuwait’s daily coronavirus (COVID-19) cases rose by 50 to 411,655 as the death toll went up by one to 2,449 over the past 24 hours.
Another 46 people were cured of the viral disease, raising the overall recoveries to 408,545, spokesperson of the Ministry of Health Dr. Abdallah Al-Sanad said on Thursday.
The percentage of recoveries compared with the caseload hit 99.24, Dr. Al-Sanad told KUNA.
The number of those hospitalized at COVID-19 wards stands at 40, including 11 patients at intensive care units while 661 others are receiving regular treatment.
Some 16,383 swab tests were conducted over the last day, raising the overall number of tests to 439,454, Dr. Al-Sanad noted, adding that the percentage of confirmed cases to overall tests stands at 0.30.
