The State Kuwait on Sunday said confirmed coronavirus cases rose by 72 over the past 24 hours to a total of 411,803, while a single fatality took its death toll to 2,452, the health ministry said.
Some 51 people were cured of the virus, raising the total of those to have overcome the disease to 408,694, the ministry’s spokesman Dr. Abdallah Al-Sanad told KUNA.
The number of people hospitalised with the virus at COVID-19 wards is 40, while there are 10 patients in intensive care units, in addition to 657 active cases, he added.
Some 28,538 swab tests were conducted over the last day, taking the total s to 508,146 he said.
