Kuwait MoH Implements Integrated Services for Worshippers During Ramadan

Kuwait City: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health (MoH) announced on Saturday offering field services at high-density mosques and prayer rooms, as part of its plan carried out since the first day of the holy month of Ramadan. Head of medical energy department Dr. Ahmad Al-Shatti said the move aimed to create a safe, comfortable environment to male and female worshippers.

According to Kuwait News Agency, some 23 integrated medical clinics supported by ambulance and medics have been on alert to respond to any emergency. Dr. Al-Shatti emphasized the need for abiding by health instructions to avoid any problems that may affect worshippers’ safety. He urged people to regularly drink water between “Iftar and Sohour” meals to avert dehydration and exhaustion during prayers.

Dr. Al-Shatti also affirmed the importance of considering traffic safety while going to mosques, advising individuals suffering from chronic diseases to take their medication as planned.
