Kuwait oil price down to USD 72.31 pb

The price of Kuwaiti oil went down by USD 1.10 to USD 72.31 per barrel Tuesday as oppose to USD 73.41 pb the day before, said the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Thursday.

Globally, the price went up despite a sharp decrease in crude reserves and a sudden drop in fuel supplies and distillates in the US, an indication that demand was high in the world largest energy consumer.

The price of the Brent crude went up by 86 cents to reach USD 76.74 per barrel, the same case with the American crude, which reached USD 66.64 pb on an increase by 28.
