Kuwait City: His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah met with the visiting Egyptian Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan Al-Khatib and his accompanying delegation at Bayan Palace on Sunday. The meeting was also attended by Kuwaiti Minister of Commerce and Industry Khalifa Al-Ajeel. They discussed the close relations between Kuwait and Egypt and explored ways to enhance bilateral trade and industrial cooperation to benefit both countries and their peoples.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the meeting also saw the presence of His Highness the Prime Minister’s Diwan Chief Abdulaziz Al-Dakheel, Egyptian Ambassador in Kuwait Osama Shaltout, and CEO of the Egyptian General Authority for Investment and Free Zones Hossam Heiba. The discussions focused on mutual interests and how both nations could work together to strengthen economic ties.
