The Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, on Monday held talks by telephone with Russian Foreign Minister Segrey Lavrov on means of boosting bilateral relations between Moscow and Kuwait.
Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement the two sides affirmed, during the phone contact, mutual desire to elevate the relations between Russia and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) through execution of common ventures of mutual benefit and settling various regional strifes.
His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled and Minister Lavrov discussed in details issues related to pursuing the conventional Kuwaiti-Russian relations namely bolstering the cooperation in commercial, economic and investment spheres.
Moreover, the prime minister and the Russian foreign minister affirmed necessity of maintaining the current dynamism for promoting the commercial ties, resuming exchanges in the cultural and humanitarian sectors amid forecast improvement of the health and epidemical conditions.
