Kuwait records 36 coronavirus cases, no deaths

Kuwait’s Ministry of Health said Thursday that 36 people tested positive for the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) in the past 24 hours, taking the country’s caseload to 413,419.

The recoveries rose by 17 to 410,663 and the death toll from the pandemic remained unchanged at 2,465, the Ministry’s Spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told KUNA.

There are 291 patients receiving treatment, including eight who are treated at hospital wards, while Covid-19 ICUs remained vacant.

Medical swabs conducted over the same period reached 19,262 increasing the total to 5,369,734, the spokesman added.
