Kuwait’s Ministry of Health on Sunday said that 17 people were infected with the novel coronavirus in 24 hours, taking the total to 413,137, and that the death toll stood at 2,464 as there were no deaths over the past 24 hours.
As many as 27 recoveries were registered in the same period, raising the total number to 410,431, the Ministry’s spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told KUNA.
The number of patients receiving treatment at ICUs is two, while there are 242 and nine others at hospitals and the covid-19 wards respectively, he noted.
Medical swabs conducted over the same period reached 19,004 increasing the total tests to 5,180,828 he stated.
