The Kuwaiti Health Ministry on Monday declared 52 new coronavirus infections over the past 24 hours, taking the total to 411,855.

No death case was reported in the corresponding period, the ministry said in a statement, noting that the fatalities stood at 2,452. As many as 39 people cured from the disease, bringing the total recoveries to 408,733, it stated, affirming that the recovery-to-infection ratio hit 99.24 percent.

The number of intensive care units patients declined to seven, while about 700 others are receiving health care at hospitals’ wards.

Medical swabs conducted in the same period reached 34,825, raising the tally to 4,351,971, according to the statement.
