Kuwait reports 588 new COVID-19 cases, no deaths

– Kuwait’s Health Ministry on Saturday said that 588 people tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, taking the total to 417,723.

The recoveries rose by 108 to 411,788, while the death toll from the pandemic remained unchanged at 2,468, the Ministry’s Spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told KUNA.

There are four ICU cases and 3,467 others are being treated at home, in addition to 23 patients at COVID-19 wards, he noted.

Medical swabs conducted over the same period reached 17,338, raising the total to 5,984,074, Al-Sanad made clear.
