Kuwait, Saudi Arabia have trade, investment coop. potential – KCCI

— Chairman of Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) Mohammad Al-Saqer stated Wednesday that Kuwait and Saudi Arabia have great potentials for developing trade and investment cooperation.

During a meeting with Saudi Ambassador to Kuwait Prince Sultan bin Saad Al-Saud, Al-Saqer praised the brotherly relations between the two countries, adding that more efforts should be made to achieve the desired economic goals.

Al-Saqer referred to the Kuwaiti-Saudi Economic Forum, which was held on the sidelines of the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Mohammad bin Salman?’s vist to Kuwait last December, stressing that the forum achieved great success, where many members of the Kuwaiti business community attended.

The Kuwaiti side was briefed in the forum on the Saudi advancement experience in all fields, especially the economic ones, said Al-Saqer, noting that the forum included the signing of partnership agreements between Kuwaiti and Saudi companies.

On ongoing advancements in the Kingdom, Al-Saqer noted that the Kingdom is an ideal example to follow, as he expressed hopes for more joint efforts in establishing events that would strengthen the economic ties between the two brotherly countries.

On his part, Prince Sultan expressed gratitude to the Chamber for its important role in developing the bilateral trade relations, hoping to utilize the investment opportunities available in the Kingdom and forming strategic partnerships between the Saudi and Kuwaiti business sectors.

Furthermore, Prince Sultan referred to the efforts made by the Kingdom to facilitate entry into the Saudi market to attract Gulf and foreign investors and open new economic horizons
