– Kuwait’s Foreign Ministry on Friday strongly condemned the continued Houthi attempts to threaten security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the latest of which is the foiled Houthi drone attack on the southern Saudi city of Khamis Mushiat today.

The continuity and escalation of these hostile actions against the security of the Saudi Kingdom and the stability of the whole region are blatant violations of the international law and international humanitarian law, the foreign ministry said in a statement.

It added that this behavior necessitates swift and firm actions from the international community to stop the attacks and hold perpetrators accountable.

The foreign ministry reiterated Kuwait’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and support to all the measures it takes to defend its security, stability and sovereignty
