The Kuwaiti National Council of Culture, Arts and Letters (NCCAL), will hold the 21st International Music Festival, in Hawalli Governorate, in late Jun.
Sponsored by the Ministry of Information and Ministry of State for Youth Affairs of Kuwait, the event will be held from Jun 23 to 28.
Different music bands, troupe and folkloric arts, coming from China, Bahrain, Kuwait and Turkey will participate in this event.
As part of the festival, a Chinese cultural show, to be performed by artistes from Guangxi Culture and Art Troupe, will be held on Jun 24, in Kuwait, Zhu Xi, director of cultural office of the Chinese Embassy to Kuwait, said.
NCCAL holds the musical gala annually, to highlight Kuwaiti heritage, in the minds of the new generation, while showcasing Arabic and foreign creativity.
The first International Music Festival was held in 1998.
