Kuwait Triumphs Over Morocco 39-29 in Arab Men’s Handball Cup Opener

Kuwait City: Kuwait emerged victorious against Morocco with a score of 39-29 in the opening match of the 10th Arab Men’s Handball Cup, which is currently being held at the Sheikh Saad Abdullah Complex in Kuwait.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the game attracted a large Kuwaiti audience, who witnessed the “Blue” team take an enthusiastic approach to the match. The first half concluded with Kuwait leading 19-13. Building on their first-half success, the Kuwaiti team maintained their momentum and secured a decisive 39-29 victory. Kuwait’s goalie, Hussein Saqr, received accolades as the best player of the game.

The tournament kicked off earlier in the day with two other matches. Bahrain managed a narrow victory over Iraq with a score of 28-26, while the Qatari team defeated Saudi Arabia 31-22. Upcoming matches will see Tunisia face Qatar, the UAE take on Morocco, and Egypt compete against Iraq.
