– Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed on Saturday the statement issued by the UN Security Council (UNSC) that condemned the Houthi militia attacks carried out against Saudi Arabia’s civilian territories.
The ministry noted that this condemnation came in recognition of the threat that the militias set on the region’s security and safety, as it also increased the humanitarian suffering of the Yemeni people.
The statement also recognized the importance of solving the crisis politically and reaching positive interaction with the international community that seeks a peaceful solution for the Yemini crisis.
The ministry expressed appreciation to the member states of the UN Security Council for their interest in this situation, which came within the framework of their responsibilities towards maintaining international peace and security.
