Kuwait City: Kuwait’s First Deputy Prime Minister, Defense Minister, and Interior Minister, Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah, held discussions with Egyptian Defense Minister Gen. Abdulmajeed Saqr on Sunday. The talks focused on enhancing military cooperation and achieving security and stability in the region.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the meeting is part of Sheikh Fahad Al-Yusuf’s official visit to Egypt. During this visit, Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense released a statement highlighting the discussions on military collaboration between the two nations.
Sheikh Fahad Al-Yusuf also signed a military cooperation agreement with Gen. Saqr. Following the agreement, he paid a visit to the ‘Tomb of the Unknown Soldier,’ honoring the martyrs of the Egyptian Armed Forces. The visit included a tribute to the tomb of the late President Anwar Sadat, commemorating his significant national role.
