Kuwaiti Charity Inaugurates New Hamlet in Yemen’s Tor Albaha Region

Kuwait City: Kuwait’s Al-Najat Charity has officially inaugurated a new hamlet consisting of 30 residences in the Tor Albaha region of Lahj, Yemen. This initiative, known as Alkhaiyereen-10, is part of the Kuwaiti ten-year relief campaign titled “Kuwait on your Side.” Omar Al-Samati, advisor to the Lahj Governor, highlighted in a press statement that the construction of this small village is a testament to the ongoing efforts by the State of Kuwait and the charity association to support sustainable humanitarian projects in Yemen.

According to Kuwait News Agency, these ventures significantly contribute to improving the living conditions of Yemenis and alleviating their hardships, especially in rural areas where access to basic services is limited. Al-Samati emphasized the importance of such projects in addressing the challenges faced by the local population.

In addition, Yemeni philanthropist and director of the “Yanabee’ Alkhair” foundation, Abdulghani Alhjaji, stated that the “Al-Khaiyereen” project encompasses more than just housing. It includes the construction of a mosque, a school, an administrative facility, a water network, and solar energy installations. Alhjaji also mentioned that there are plans for affiliated smaller projects aimed at assisting low-income families in the region.
