Kuwaiti Interior Min. makes inspection tour to criminal security sector

Kuwaiti Interior Minister Sheikh Thamer Ali Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah Thursday made an inspection tour to the criminal security sector, where he was received by the Assistant Undersecretary for Criminal Security Affairs Major General Muhammad Al-Sharhan and a number of specialized assistant agents.

The General Administration of Security Relations and Information in the ministry said in a press statement that the minister’s tour comes as a continuation of his inspection tours to all sectors of the Ministry of Interior.

The Minister conveyed at the beginning of the tour appreciation of the higher political leadership of the criminal security sector for their sincere efforts in serving the country and combating crime in all its forms, it added.

He also praised the men of the General Administration for Narcotics Control for their sincere efforts in dealing with all force, firmness and modernizing with the latest equipment and security services.

Sheikh Thamer Al-Sabah began his visit by listening to a brief explanation about the nature of the work of the General Department of Criminal Investigation and oversaw a presentation on the raid on a criminal outpost and how to deal with it.

In addition to the Cyber Crime Department and listen to the mechanism of its work and the qualitative development in combating cybercrime using the latest technological methods.

He also toured the (Interpol) administration and listened to a brief explanation of the department?’s accomplishments and efforts as well as a visual presentation on the achievements of the criminal security sector and the most important seizures made by the sector in all areas of crime.
