Kuwait City: The eighth meeting of the Kuwaiti-Iraqi joint legal and technical committee, tasked with completing the demarcation of the maritime borders beyond Mark 162nd, took place on Sunday.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the Kuwaiti delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. The Iraqi delegation was headed by Deputy National Security Advisor, Dr. Essam Al-Saadi. Both delegations engaged in discussions on various topics outlined in the committee’s agenda, as noted in a statement from the ministry.
