Muscat: A delegation from Ali Al-Sabah Military Academy, Military Education Authority, and Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences visited the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences in Oman to enhance cooperation in education and training for female personnel. The visit aimed to foster collaboration between Kuwaiti and Omani institutions in order to develop the skills and expertise of female security personnel.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense issued a press statement indicating that the military delegation was briefed on the academy’s registration and admission system, as well as the education and training mechanisms in place. The visit provided an opportunity for the delegation to gain insights into the academy’s methods and processes.
During the visit, the delegation was received by Academy Commander Colonel Khalifa Al-Farai, who led a field tour showcasing the facilities and equipment used for training female security personnel. The tour was part of an effort to share knowledge and best practices in the training of female personnel between the two nations.
Brigadier General Fawaz Al-Musailem, Commander of Ali Al-Sabah Military Academy, expressed his gratitude to Colonel Al-Farai for the warm reception and hospitality. He commended the academy’s achievements in the field of qualifying and training female personnel, highlighting the importance of continued collaboration.
The visit aligns with the broader framework of joint cooperation between security and military institutions in Kuwait and Oman, aimed at developing national cadres and enhancing the exchange of knowledge and expertise between the two countries.
