Kuwaiti oil price up 46 cents to USD 61.11 pb

The price of Kuwaiti oil went up by 46 cents to USD 61.11 per barrel (pb) Friday after being at USD 60.65 pb the day before, said the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Saturday.

Globally, prices went up Friday in parallel with US stocks and investors buying in to cover base before the weekend.

The Brent Blend went up USD 1.09 to USD 66.21 pb, the same case with the West Texas Intermediate, which went up by USD 1.15 USD 62.34 pb.
