Kuwaiti shooter Abdurrahman Al-Faihan secured a spot in the Men’s Trap final in the Tokyo Olympic Games on Thursday.
Al-Faihan finished at third position in the qualification round with a score of 123.
At Asaka Shooting Range, 29 competitors shot 125 targets over two days from Wednesday, with the top six qualifying for the finals, where they will shoot 60 targets. Al-Faihan finished qualifying in equal second after hitting 123 out of 125 targets and then ranked third following a shoot-off among four shooters.
Talal Al-Rashidi failed to advance out of the qualifying round as he finished seventh with 122 targets after losing the shoot-off.
The final will start at 3:30 pm (0630 GMT)
