— Kuwaiti shooter Abdullah Al-Rashidi clinched a silver medal in the ISSF President’s Cup skeet event held at Larnaca Shooting Range on Saturday.

After a strike of 50 out of 50 points on offer in the preliminary round, Al-Rashidi followed up with a 22 out of 24 tally to trail behind Italy’s Gabriele Rossetti at the southern Cypriot port city.

The competition, held on an invitation-only basis, grouped the top 12 shooters in the world across several disciplines.

A total three Kuwaitis featured in the competition, including Al-Rashidi, who added that this demonstrates the accuracy and precision of his compatriots.
