Kuwait’s CBK issues KD 200 mln bonds, tawarruq

The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) announced on Monday that it issued bonds and related tawarruq estimated at KD 200 million (about USD 660 million) for a three-month term.

The securities bear a return rate of 4.125 percent, the central bank told KUNA in a statement.

On January two, the CBK issued bonds and tawarruq valued at KD 240 million (about USD 792 million) for six months with a return rate of 4.250 percent.
