Kuwait City: Secretary-General of the Arab Energy Organization (AEO), Jamal Al-Loughani, emphasized the crucial role of specialized legal professionals in shaping the future of the oil and gas industry. Speaking to KUNA after inaugurating a specialized training course focused on the legal and historical frameworks of the global petroleum system, Al-Loughani highlighted the importance of legal experts in drafting contracts, managing legal disputes, and navigating environmental and regulatory legislation, as well as international agreements.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Loughani stressed the necessity of developing legal expertise to address the legislative and legal challenges facing the oil and gas industry amidst rapid regional and global developments. He noted that oil and gas are not only energy sources but also significant drivers of national economies and key elements in international relations and geopolitics.
