— Social Media manager within the Kuwaiti Olympic committee, Khalil Hayat, stated Sunday that the swift and precise media coverage of the Kuwait-hosted Third Gulf Games, conveyed to audiences the humanity within the games.
Speaking to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Hayat mentioned that his team, comprised of 14 journalists, photographers and graphic designers, worked tirelessly to supply viewers’ Instagram, twitter and YouTube feed with up-to-date results of the competitions.
He further commented that the team offered televised digests of competition highlights, indicating that the committee worked closely with other committees to provide delegations with the best possible service.
As per the instructions of Kuwaiti Olympic Committee head, Sheikh Fahad Nasser Al-Sabah, they provided participating gulf Olympic committees with all the necessary news, photos and video clips.
He also highlighted that followers flocked to the committee’s twitter account as they eagerly awaited competition results.
