Kuwait City: Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood Affairs Dr. Amthal Al-Huwaila underlined the importance of collective societal efforts in providing a supportive environment for orphans, stating that it is a shared responsibility to ensure them a dignified life and a promising future.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Minister Al-Huwaila delivered these remarks during the annual celebration of Arab Orphan Day 2025. The event, held under the theme “Our Future is Promising”, was organized by the Family Nursery Department within the Social Welfare Sector. Al-Huwaila used the occasion to reaffirm Kuwait’s commitment to social solidarity, emphasizing the country’s ongoing dedication to the care and support of orphans.

The minister lauded the work of the Social Welfare Sector and the Family Nursery Department for their comprehensive care, which provides orphans with a safe and nurturing environment conducive to their growth and development. She reiterated the ministry’s commitment to offering equal e
ducational and social opportunities to orphans, enabling them to become productive members of society.

Al-Huwaila urged individuals and institutions to advocate for orphan causes, highlighting the importance of compassion and social solidarity.
