Minister of Communications, Hayam Al-Yasiri, discussed today, Monday, with Kuwaiti Ambassador Tariq Abdullah Faraj, strengthening relations between the two countries in the communications and information technology sector.
The Ministry of Communications stated in a statement, “During the meeting, the importance of enhancing cooperation between the two countries in this sector was emphasized, as part of the ministry’s plan to attract active companies in the field of communications, especially with its ambitious plans to move forward with transit projects to link the countries of Asia and Europe via Iraq.”
For his part, the Kuwaiti ambassador expressed “his country’s sincere desire for joint cooperation, providing all kinds of support to Iraq, and exchanging experiences in the field of communications and information technology.”
