MoI apprehends Arab expat who quarreled with Army personnel

 

The Ministry of Interior announced late Saturday that it has arrested an Arab expatriate who appeared in a video clip, posted on social media, quarreling with an army personnel at a shopping mall in Al Sulaibikhat district.
In a press stamen, the ministry said the expat has been taken to the northwestern Al Sulaibikhat police station where he was cross-examined by prosecutors.
The expat was charged with two accounts of curfew rules violation and mobile phone misuse, it pointed out.
It added that the expat will remand in jail pending further investigations.
The ministry stressed that it will closely follow up this case and will take all necessary legal actions to maintain full respect to security and military personnel.
