MANCHESTER, Britain, Chancellor of the Exchequer Sajid Javid said Monday that the UK could leave the EU with no deal despite the parliament’s vote on a need of an agreement.
Speaking to the BBC on the sideline of the Tories meeting in Manchester, the chancellor has promised “a significant economic policy response” in the event of a no-deal Brexit; however, the government will still try and reach an agreement reasonable for British Parliament and the EU.
If no agreement was reached by October 31, Britain will leave the EU with no-deal, he stressed.
On Sunday, Prime Minister Boris Johnson ruled out that EU leaders would provide a third extension for Brexit.
