Oil Prices Decline As Markets Await Chinese Data

Baghdad, Oil prices fell today, Tuesday, giving up most of the previous day’s gains, due to concerns related to weak demand in China, with investors focusing on trade data scheduled to be issued later today.

Brent crude futures fell 23 cents, or 0.3 %, to $84.95 per barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate crude fell 23 cents, or 0.3 %, to $80.59 per barrel.

China will release import and export figures for October today, while key consumer price data is scheduled for release the day after tomorrow, Thursday.
