KHARTOUM, Ousted Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir went under investigations in court on charges of corruption on Sunday in the capital Khartoum.
Yesterday, the country’s acting prosecutor general Al-Waleed Sayyed Ahmed told reporters that 41 other charges against “officials of the ousted regime” are also under investigation.
The investigation came after more than two months since the military overthrew Al-Bashir on April 11.
Charges against Al-Bashir include possessing foreign funds, acquiring suspected and illegal wealth and ordering the state of emergency.
