Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques’ Affairs Distributes Umbrellas to Pilgrims at Grand Mosque

The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, represented by the Agency for Guidance Affairs, distributed umbrellas to pilgrims and Umrah performers inside the Grand Mosque, specifically in the Saudi Riwaq (portico) leading to the circumambulation area.

This offering was fulfilled as part of an integrated system of services provided to the pilgrims and Umrah performers to help them to perform their rituals with ease, comfort, and tranquillity.

Assistant to the Deputy General President and Director General of the General Administration for Guidance Affairs, Ibrahim bin Mohammed Shaybah, confirmed that the general administration has been keen to provide umbrellas and distribute them to Umrah performers in the circumambulation.

He noted that the complimentary umbrellas protected the pilgrims from the sun’s harsh heat and enabled them to perform their rituals easily and comfortably.

He also indicated that this is part of the General Presidency’s campaign, “Serving our Umrah Performers, an Honor for Our Employees”, and aims to provide services that facilitate the pilgrimage rituals for those visiting the Grand Mosque with ease and comfort.

He said that this assistance aligns with an integrated system of services that meet the aspirations of the wise leadership in serving the Two Holy Mosques.
