The national volleyball squad of Qatar were proclaimed champions of the 3rd GCC Games Kuwait 2022 on Friday evening.
The Bahraini team won the silver medal and the Omanis won the bronze.
The final game of the competition, held at Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah Complex, saw the Qatari team beating the UAE peers 3-0.
In another showdown, the Bahraini team defeated the Kuwaiti peers 3-2 to secure the second place while the Omani squad defeated the Green, of Saudi Arabia, 3-0.
