RIYADH, Saudi Arabia on Tuesday declared solidarity with Sudan in the face of economic challenges, affirming keenness on its security and stability.
The cabinet, during a regular weekly session chaired by Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz, echoed a statement by the monarch affirming that security and stability of Saudi Arabia and Sudan are inseparable.
The government has recently dispatched a delegation to Sudan to hold talks with the leaders on bolstering economic relations and enhancing trade exchanges between the two nations, a cabinet statement said.
On other regional issues, the cabinet rejected Israel’s schemes designed to bolster racial indiscrimination, undermining the national identity and legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
