RIYADH Saudi Arabia King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud telephoned Thursday President Xi Jinping of the People’s Republic of China.
According to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), during a phone conversation, King Salman shared with the Chinese President painful feelings due to the outbreak of coronavirus disease.
The Saudi King expressed condolences to victims’ families, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
The King pointed out the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s confidence of the Chinese government’s capability to deal with impacts of this virus.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques also directed King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) to provide urgent assistance to China in order to contain impacts of coronavirus.
For his part, the President of China affirmed his country’s sufficient experience to deal with this epidemic and address its impacts, expressing thanks to the Saudi King for his keenness and strong support in combating this coronavirus.
He added that this matter reflects a depth of relations between the two countries.
