The Deputy Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Sudan, Raafat bin Ahmed Sharaf, met on Friday with the team from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).
During the meeting, they reviewed KSrelief’s work mechanism in the urgent response plan for the Sudanese people affected by the current events, as well as the humanitarian aid provided for the needy people and the methods of transporting relief materials from Port Sudan airport to the warehouses of the implementing partner.
They also discussed the aid distribution plan for Port Sudan and Gezira states, which are witnessing large displacement from the capital, Khartoum. The Saudi Deputy Ambassador praised the efforts of KSrelief and the proposed work mechanism to support the displaced and affected people in Sudan.
