Saudi Expo official “impressed” by Kuwait pavilion at Dubai-held global event

The Commissioner-General of Saudi Arabia’s pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai is “impressed” by the neighbouring Kuwait pavilion’s interesting display of history and future economic strategy.

Speaking to KUNA after a tour of the booth, Husain Hanbadhadha learned new things about the New Kuwait 2035 economic ambitions, saying he was particularly impressed by the interactive content about these plans.

Describing this strategy, he said Kuwait is embarking on an “ambitious” project to develop its economy, which will reflect positively on the economies of its Gulf neighbours.

The Saudi official praised the warm welcome he received at the hands of young Kuwaiti staff scattered throughout the large exhibition, describing the fellow pavilion as “wonderful.” A total 200 government and private bodies across a diverse array of sectors are contributing to the booth, titled “New Kuwait… New Opportunities for Sustainability”.

The pavilion, which covers an area of over 5,500 square metres, has been designed to resemble water tower structures, commonly found in the country.

Expo 2020 Dubai is hosting the pavilions of 192 nations until the end of March 2022.
