RIYADH, Saudi Arabia’s Energy Minister and the visiting Russian Minister of Economic Development discussed close coordination in regards to their role in the stability of the global oil market.
As they met in Riyadh, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman and Maxim Orishkin both praised the outcome of the recent OPEC agreement, saying it would help stabilise the market and the future of petroleum industries, according to the Saudi state news agency.
Prince Abdulaziz said cooperation between both has witnessed huge developments, particularly on the investment side, following King Salman bin Abdulaziz’ earlier visit to Moscow.
Ahead of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s scheduled visit to Riyadh, he added this would give new impetus to these joint efforts and could offer the potential for further “unprecedented” avenues of cooperation.
