Scientific Center holds last phase of “Kuwait Sciences Month”

— The Scientific Center is holding the fourth and last phase of “Kuwait Sciences Month” with diverse activities focusing on environmental awareness and biodiversity and children diabetes.

Hamad Al-Yassin, the center acting director general, said in a statement on Saturday that the center holds, this week, “the exhibition of wilderness,” in coordination with the London Natural History Museum, depicting children’s attachment to animals and promoting bio-diversity.

The Scientific Advancement for Publishing, an affiliate of Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences, is displaying the book, “butterflies,” in an interactive workshop, in coordination with Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity (SACGC), providing vistors with virtual reading and examination.

Another activity will entertain visitors of video coverage of flamenco birds roaming Kuwait Bay. Kuwaiti divers will also have a stake, shedding light on their clearing of the territorial waters.

An electric car will be also put on display and the program will conclude with an educational activity against diabetes among children, due at the Avenues Mall (Dec. 30-31).
