– National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim headed Wednesday to the Belgian capital, Brussels, for a two-day visit, during which he will meet as a representative of the Arab parliaments, European Parliament President David Sassoli and Belgian Parliament Speaker Eliane Tello.

Al-Ghanim’s meeting with senior officials in the European Parliament and the Belgian Parliament came as a representative of the Arab geopolitical group to discuss developments in the occupied Palestinian territories in the wake of the recent attacks by the occupation forces on Jerusalem, Gaza and the rest of the Palestinian territories, said Dustoor news network.

Al-Ghanim will also meet the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the European Parliament, David McAllister, in addition to another meeting with the Arabian Peninsula Relations Head in the European Parliament, Hannah Neumann
