The Foreign Minister, His Kuwaiti Counterpart Discuss The Regional And Political Developments In The Region

– Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein discussed with his Kuwaiti counterpart Sheikh Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah the regional and political developments in the region.

A Foreign Ministry statement said, “The minister met his Kuwaiti counterpart on the sidelines of his participation in the meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement group, which is currently being held in Belgrade, Serbia, and to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the movement’s first conference.”

During the meeting, the minister presented a review of the electoral process, as well as the depth of relations between the two brotherly countries.

For his part, Sheikh Ahmed Muhammad Al-Sabah affirmed Kuwait’s stand by Iraq and its support for it, referring to the visit of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi to the State of Kuwait, as well as the visit of Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah to Iraq and his participation in the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership, wishing Iraq and its people prosperity and progress. .

The two sides stressed the importance of exchanging visits and continuing the meetings of the joint committees to resolve outstanding issues.
