The National Investment Authority announced that the joint committee for dialogue between Iraq and South Korea has resumed its work in the South Korean capital, Seoul, after a 6-year hiatus, and discussed the development of infrastructure projects and the resumption of work on the Basmaya residential project.
According to a statement by the Authority, the Committee, with the participation of a group of representatives of Iraqi and South Korean ministries and institutions, discussed the possibility of signing memorandums of understanding between the two countries in the fields of transport and aviation, infrastructure projects and city development, and the resumption of work in the Basmayah residential complex.
The Iraqi side was represented in the committee by Minister of Commerce Atheer Al-Ghurairy, and the South Korean side by Minister of Lands, Infrastructure and Transportation, Won Hee-ryong.
