The Minister of Communications, Hayam Al-Yasiri, discussed today, Tuesday, with the Australian Ambassador to Baghdad, Paula Ganley, strengthening cooperation in the communications and information technology sector.
The Ministry said in a statement: “During the meeting, they discussed joint cooperation between the two countries and the importance of exchanging experiences in a way that enhances the participation of Australian companies specialized in the communications and information technology sector in Iraq.
The Australian Ambassador affirmed her country’s keenness to support Iraq in developing the telecommunications sector by facilitating the participation of discreet and highly qualified Australian companies in this field.
