Trump, British PM discuss Mideast peace process — White House

WASHINGTON– US President Donald Trump spoke Tuesday with British Prime Minister Theresa May during which they discussed several issues, including “next steps in forging peace in the Middle East.” The White House said in a statement that both leaders also “emphasized the urgency of addressing the humanitarian crisis in Yemen.” For his part, Trump congratulated the British Premier “on the decision by European Union leaders to move to the second phase of the Brexit negotiations.” May, for her part, offered her condolences “for the tragic train accident in Washington State.”
