Trump, Moon coordinating ahead of US-North Korea summit

WASHINGTON, US President Donald Trump and South Korean President Moon Jae-in have discussed continuing close coordination ahead of the upcoming US-North Korea summit, the White House said Sunday.

In a phone call late Saturday, Trump and Moon addressed North Korea’s recent threats to cancel the June 12 summit over the US demands for “unilateral nuclear abandonment.” The two leaders also discussed maintaining close coordination ahead of the summit, and will meet in Washington this week. “President Trump said he looks forward to continuing their conversation when President Moon visits the White House on May 22,” the White House said in a statement.
