ANKARA, The Turkish presidency said Thursday that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will host leaders of the United Kingdom, Germany and France for a second four-way summit on Syria in Istanbul in February.
During their first meeting on the fringes of the NATO Leaders’ Summit in London yesterday, President Erdogan, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and President Emmanuel Macron agreed to meet on an annual basis.
They discussed Syria, Libya, counter-terrorism and the developments of Turkey’s Operation Peace Spring in northern Syria, according to the statement released by the communication dept. of the Turkish Presidency.
