Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim received on Friday an invitation to attend the Kuwait International Conference for the Reconstruction of Iraq (KICRI).
Bilateral relations, as well as beefing up economic cooperation between the two countries were discussed as well, Kuwait’s Ambassador to Turkey Ghassan Al-Zawawi told KUNA after handing the invitation to the Turkish Premier. He also handed Premier Yildirim another invitation to visit Kuwait next April.
KICRI is due to take place from February 12 to 14, with the participation of a number of contributing countries, international and regional organizations. It will be chaired by five parties; Kuwait, Iraq, the European Union, the United Nations and the World Bank.
